The ideal candidate will provide excellent patient education and quality care!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance cleanings and scaling and root planning procedures.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and needed treatment
- Perform oral health assessments and take necessary x-rays, photo's and periodontal charts
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow all infection control protocols and maintain a clean, organized working environment
Qualifications:
- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- State licensure and CPR certification
- Knowledge of dental anatomy, medical terminology, and HIPAA regulations
- Experience with medical documentation, coding, and maintaining medical records
- Ability to take vital signs and work effectively in a dental office setting
