Position Summary
The Afterschool Program Counselor is responsible for providing a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for youth during afterschool programming. Counselors serve as positive role models by building meaningful relationships, leading activities, encouraging learning, promoting healthy lifestyles, and ensuring the overall well-being of Club members.
Program Assignment
The Donald W. Reynolds Boys & Girls Club operates two afterschool programs:
Youth Development Program (YDP)
Located at our main Club facility, YDP provides high-quality afterschool programming for youth through homework assistance, character and leadership development, STEM, arts, recreation, sports, and other enriching experiences designed to help every child learn, grow, and succeed.
School Kids Connection (SKC)
Our licensed School Kids Connection (SKC) program operates at elementary and middle school campuses throughout Fayetteville, providing high-quality, safe, and engaging afterschool care.
