Job Summary
We are seeking skilled 2nd and 3rd shift Hand Processors to join a team in the Windsor area. The ideal candidate will have a background in a mail facility and a keen eye for detail. The role is very hands on and involves sorting mail into correct shipping bins, ensuring addresses are clear and correct, use a tracking system to generate labels and must have excellent communication skills. Call our office between 9:00am and 5:00pm Mon-Fri to be immediately considered for the position: 860-683-2425!
Location: Windsor area, not on a bus line.
Pay: $17+/hr
Schedule: 2nd shift 2:00 pm - 10:30pm, 3rd shift 10:00 pm - 6:30 am Monday through Friday. Weekend overtime may be occasionally offered. Must be able to train on first shift 6:00 am -2:30 pm.
Responsibilities
- Hand-sort postal materials
- Be on your feet for the entirety of your shift
- Insert mail into envelopes of various sizes
- Great eye for detail, perform regular quality control checks to maintain consistency
- Inputting data into appropriate systems for quality control and inventory
- Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English
Experience
- Ability to analyze, draw conclusions and create solutions
- 2-3 years minimum of consistent work history
- Previous experience in a mail production environment is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to learn
