Hopewell Health Centers is a nationally accredited federally qualified health and community mental health center with 23 sites across TEN counties throughout Southeastern Ohio (Athens, Franklin, Gallia, Hocking, Jackson, Meigs, Perry, Ross, Vinton, and Washington). We are currently seeking a School Based Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team based out of Belpre, OH.
In this role, you will be providing clinical counseling services to individuals, groups and families, to include diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, individual counseling, crisis counseling/intervention and some case management. Therapist must be able to work collaboratively with school personnel, parents and other professionals
What do we look for in our School Based Therapist??
- Eligible to work in the United Stated
- BSW, LSW considered
- Master’s Degree in a mental health related field with licensure by the Ohio CSWMFT Board is preferred.
- Independent license and specialty training (e.g. Addictions, EMDR, CBT, etc.) preferred, but not required.
- A valid driver’s license, good driving record, and vehicle suitable for transportation. (Must have a minimum of 3 years driving experience and be at least 21 years of age)
- Position requires good verbal and written communication skills,
- The ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to be sensitive to the cultural needs of the clients,
