Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in residential or commercial spaces. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Housekeeper will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients’ environments are welcoming, hygienic, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Clean and maintain restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure high standards of hygiene.
- Change linens and make beds as required.
- Organize and tidy up spaces to create an inviting atmosphere.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Manage cleaning supplies and equipment efficiently, ensuring they are stored properly after use.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with clients or team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
