Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick items using order picker equipment, RF scanners, barcode scanning systems, and manual handling techniques to fulfill customer orders accurately.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and heavy machinery safely and in accordance with safety protocols.
- Pack products securely using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit, adhering to quality control standards.
- Load and unload shipments utilizing heavy equipment operation skills, ensuring proper stacking and storage of inventory.
- Manage inventory through warehouse management systems (WMS), conducting stock counts, updating records, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
- Follow safety procedures diligently by using personal protective equipment (PPE), practicing manual handling techniques, and adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential!
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners safely and effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for order picking, packing, inventory management, and quality control.
- Basic math skills for counting items, measuring quantities, and verifying shipment details accurately.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory management systems is a plus.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, load/unload shipments, and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Commitment to safety practices including the use of PPE and following safety protocols diligently.

Pay: $16.50 - $22.00 per hour
