Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure safety and hygiene.
- Conduct floor cleaning and floor care tasks such as carpet cleaning, tile scrubbing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces.
- Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing for clients.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or equipment with proper technique to prevent injury.
- Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all tools are sanitized and in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Follow established janitorial and custodial procedures to ensure consistent quality across all assignments.
- Assist with outdoor work when required, such as sweeping porch areas or maintaining outdoor spaces related to the property.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential housekeeping or commercial cleaning environments; hotel or janitorial experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards.
- Familiarity with various cleaning equipment and tools used in professional housekeeping.
- Ability to handle cleaning detergents safely while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, outdoor work, and extended periods of standing or walking.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
- Demonstrated reliability with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
