This position is critical in ensuring that CamTran is a safe and secure work environment through the monitoring, implementation and administration of safety and security plans for the Urban, Rural, and Inclined Plane divisions. Being pro-active in identifying, responding to, and resolving all safety and security issues related to the Authority, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Local safety and security, risk management regulations.
Woodvale location. Full-time. Typically, 40 hours Monday-Friday
REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Safety or a related field is preferred. At least five years of experience in safety, security or risk management is preferred. At least 5 years of management experience preferred.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Implements and monitors the safety and security plans for the Urban, Rural, and Inclined Plane divisions. Identifies, investigates, and responds to, and resolves all safety and security issues related to the Authority, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Local safety and security, risk management regulations.
- Must have proficient computer, writing, and organization skills
- Must possess or obtain a Class B CDL with a passenger endorsement and air brake restriction removed (in-house training provided)
- Must be willing to accept night and weekend call outs
- Subject to random drug and alcohol testing (safety-sensitive position)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Able to reach, stretch, bend, crotch and stoop when performing job duties.
- May operator motor driven cleaning equipment.
- Physically fit to lift up to 50 pounds.
PAY RATE: $50,000 Salary Exempt/year
