Duties
- Safely operate dump trucks with manual transmissions across various routes
- Transport goods in specialized trucks like dump trucks and roll-off trucks to meet customer needs.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance issues or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and route details in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Follow route schedules diligently while adapting to traffic conditions and delivery priorities.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL license with necessary endorsements for the type of truck operated (e.g., tanker, refrigerated).
- Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and operating various truck types such as flatbeds or tanker trucks.
- Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or manual techniques when required.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to commercial driving, cargo securement, and vehicle maintenance.
- Experience with specialized trucks like dump trucks or roll-off trucks is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 45 per week
