Payette County Road & Bridge is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer to join our crew. The ideal candidate will have expertise in operating heavy equipment, particularly in Grader, Loader, Roller, Dump Truck.
Responsibilities:
- Operating Heavy Equipment
- Driving Truck
- Patching/Paving
- Placing Pipe and/or Cleaning Out Pipes
- Cutting Trees
- Shop Work
-Crewman duties include, but not limited to year-round work projects pertaining to upkeep and maintenance of our county roads.
This position will require a Class "A" CDL and you must be able to pass any drug and alcohol testing that is required to maintain CDL.
Experience:
- Mechanical knowledge with a focus on heavy equipment
- Experience working with machinery, trucks, Caterpillar equipment, and air brake systems
- Previous experience working with a road department is a plus
