We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and possess a passion for culinary arts. This role involves assisting in meal preparation, ensuring food safety standards, and contributing to a positive kitchen environment.
*Duties*
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables and prepping meat and poultry.
- Assist in cooking and assembling dishes according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Monitor food levels and replenish supplies as needed
- Follow proper food handling procedures and comply with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient meal service
We currently have a need for a person with the following skills:
-Tenderloin Prep + Filet : Responsible for the daily cleaning and portioning of whole tenderloins according to restaurant standards and safety protocols. includes precision cleaning, silver-skin removal, and portion-cutting
-Specialized Spit Assembly: Proficiency in the traditional stacking and hand-carving of shawarma cones, ensuring structural integrity, consistent marination distribution, and optimal heat penetration for cooking
*Requirements*
- Valid Food handlers card
- Previous experience in a restaurant
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation
-Experience processing(i.e. cleaning, cutting, prepping) of bulk produce and consistent execution of vegetable prep lists for daily service
-Consistent, high-volume preparation of base ingredients, sauces, and proteins according to standardized recipes and daily pars
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
-Must be able to speak and read English to communicate with other staff members and read order tickets
-Must be able to lift 40lbs containers of food

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
