I. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Concisely summarize the basic functions of the position.
Operate looms to produce fabric that meets preset Quality and Production Standards.
II. GUIDE TO THE POSITION – DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES: List and describe the “essential duties” of the position.
- Patrol and inspect looms on a regular basis for defects and stop off when necessary for repairs.
- Monitor fills package to assure proper tieback.
- Repair and startup mechanical, filling and warp stops.
- Monitors doff length, and stop machine at required stoppage.
- Assist Weave Service associate in doffing looms.
- Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and housekeeping practices.
- Performs other duties as required.
III. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS.
- Report to (Position): Shift Supervisor
- Directly Supervises (Position): N/A
IV. SPECIFICATIONS OF THE POSITION.
- Minimum education required: High School or GED Preferred
- Minimum experience required: Weaving experience required.
- Description of working conditions/physical surroundings: Plant Floor. Lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Shift work: 12 hour shifts
- Description of responsibility for work of others: N/A
- Contacts required inside or outside the Company: Weave Service and Loom Technicians.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.06 - $27.09 per hour
