Duties
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables efficiently, maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff in meal assembly and plating
- Manage guest reservations using POS systems such as Aloha POS or OpenTable, ensuring smooth seating flow
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage waitlists, and seat guests promptly to enhance their experience
- Keep dining areas clean and organized by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining overall cleanliness
- Support catering events or banquet setups with food handling, serving, and cleanup responsibilities
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using Micros POS or other cashiering tools while maintaining excellent phone etiquette
Skills
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or restaurant environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper cleaning procedures
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and payments
- Experience with food preparation techniques including basic cooking, knife skills, and meat cutting is a plus
- Demonstrated guest relations skills with a friendly demeanor and professional attitude
- Knowledge of dietary accommodations and food safety regulations ensures guest satisfaction and safety
