SCHEDULE/HOURS: Part-time, up to 29 hours/week, some Saturdays and evenings may be required for special events.
This position is responsible for:
Cleans, sets up, and services conference space and guest activity areas; serves as host for guest groups; maintains excellent interpersonal skills and professional and cheerful customer service communications.
With direction from the Guest Services Manager, serves as host for groups; coordinates and oversees the provision of all group needs whether big or small; acts as the face of the organization to ensure that all groups are fully satisfied with their experience; coordinates activities with multiple groups.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Duties require frequent periods of physical mobility including but not limited to standing, walking, climbing, stooping, squatting, and lifting. Physical duties may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of sitting.
Work may be performed in an office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like but not limited to the office environment. Work may require driving a vehicle and working outdoors with exposure to physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, heat or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
Licenses & Certifications:
Valid State Driver’s License required with the ability to meet Salvation Army driving requirements for insurance purposes and remain qualified to drive a Salvation Army vehicle throughout the course of employment in this position.
