Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeping/Laundry Director to lead our housekeeping and laundry operations with enthusiasm and precision. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise housekeeping and laundry teams to deliver exceptional service standards across all areas of the facility.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality assurance procedures to maintain impeccable cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ensure all team members adhere to safety regulations, proper handling of cleaning chemicals, and safe operation of equipment.
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and laundry materials, ensuring timely procurement and efficient usage.
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness, safety compliance, and overall presentation; address any deficiencies promptly.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective staff supervision, training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in custodial services, hotel housekeeping management, or commercial cleaning environments with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, industrial cleaning equipment, laundry operations, and janitorial best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing teams in fast-paced settings; ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to chemical handling, equipment operation, and workplace safety standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Previous experience in hospitality or healthcare settings is highly desirable.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with staff and other departments seamlessly.
