Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in food presentation and plating to ensure visual appeal
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and equipment
- Support food safety protocols, including proper handling and storage of ingredients
- Help with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for staff and guests
Experience
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hotel environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated individuals
- Experience with food preparation, cooking, or culinary techniques is a plus
- Banquet or large event catering experience is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests are essential
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards is highly desirable
- Previous experience in bussing, serving, or hospitality roles can be beneficial but is not mandatory
