Afterschool Site Supervisor- Broward County-Job Fair

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, energetic, passionate, team-oriented, and motivated experienced Afterschool Site Supervisors/Assistant Site Supervisors to join our team. We have open positions throughout Broward County in our Elementary and Middle School programs.
Site Supervisor
Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Site Supervisor is responsible for the overall operations of the after school/day camp site including participant and parent relationships, organizing and administering files and records necessary for the program, supervision of staff, creation of program activities, collecting fees and keeping track of supplies.
Site Supervisor Position Requirements include:
· A high school diploma or GED and preferably one of the following educational requirements:
o Post-secondary level vocational certificate in childcare through the State of Florida - level vocational certificate in childcare through State of Florida - Department of Education.
o Child Development Associate (CDA)
o Associate's degree or higher from an accredited college/university in appropriate area, as documented by transcripts and/or degree.
· A minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in a licensed childcare/day camp facility which includes direct contact with children and supervision of staff.
· Ability to relate to both children and adults; understand, practice and model YMCA Character Development values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.
· The Site Supervisor of a licensed childcare facility must be at least twenty-one (21) years old at the time of hire.
· Upon hire, the Site Supervisor must complete the Department of Children and Families 45 hours Training courses.
Assistant Site Supervisor
The YMCA of South Florida is now hiring Assistant Site Supervisors to join the Youth Development Broward team! The Assistant Site Supervisor assists in overseeing the site’s supervision of staff, and the coordination of activities. Under the direction of the Site Supervisor, the Assistant Site supervisor is responsible for complete program operations of a particular site or sites, as assigned by or in lieu of the Site Supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and Abilities/ Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum two (2) years' work experience in a licensed childcare/day camp facility which includes direct contact with children and supervision of staff.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to relate to both children and adults; understand, practice and model YMCA Character Development values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.
- Upon hire, the Site Supervisor must complete the Department of Children and Families 45 hours Training courses.
