Marketing & Provider Relations Representative

Position Summary
Leading Respiratory Services is seeking an outgoing, professional, and relationship-driven Marketing & Provider Relations Representative to serve as a primary point of contact between our company and healthcare providers throughout our service area.
This position is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with physician offices, hospitals, clinics, discharge planners, case managers, home health agencies, nursing facilities, and other referral partners. The representative will regularly visit provider offices, educate healthcare professionals about Leading Respiratory Services' products and services, assist with referral-related questions, and help ensure providers receive responsive and dependable support.
The representative will also represent Leading Respiratory Services at vendor fairs, health fairs, provider events, community events, conferences, open houses, and other networking opportunities.
The ideal candidate is personable, organized, dependable, comfortable speaking with healthcare professionals, and motivated to build long-term relationships that help Leading Respiratory Services grow while providing excellent service to our referral partners and patients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Regularly visit physician offices, clinics, hospitals, nursing facilities, home health agencies, and other healthcare providers throughout the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians, nurses, office managers, referral coordinators, discharge planners, case managers, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for healthcare providers who refer patients to Leading Respiratory Services.
- Respond promptly to provider questions, concerns, and service needs.
- Educate referral sources about Leading Respiratory Services' products, services, coverage area, and referral processes.
- Provide educational materials, brochures, product information, order forms, and other resources to provider offices.
- Help provider offices understand documentation and referral requirements for various products and services when appropriate.
- Coordinate internally with intake, billing, respiratory, mobility, delivery, and other departments to help resolve provider or patient concerns.
- Follow up with referral sources regarding service issues and ensure concerns are communicated to the appropriate department.
- Identify opportunities to improve relationships and service levels with existing referral partners.
- Develop relationships with new healthcare providers and referral sources throughout the company's service area.
- Introduce Leading Respiratory Services to new physician offices, clinics, facilities, and healthcare organizations.
- Increase awareness of the company's respiratory, mobility, durable medical equipment, and home accessibility services.
- Maintain a regular visitation schedule for assigned accounts and territories.
- Document provider visits, conversations, opportunities, concerns, and follow-up activities.
- Maintain accurate contact information for referral sources and provider offices.
- Identify trends, needs, and opportunities within assigned markets and communicate them to management.
- Assist with marketing campaigns and initiatives designed to increase provider awareness and referrals.
- Distribute company marketing materials and promotional information in accordance with applicable healthcare marketing regulations and company policies.
Events and Community Outreach
The Marketing & Provider Relations Representative will represent Leading Respiratory Services at events including:
- Vendor fairs
- Health fairs
- Hospital and provider events
- Physician office events
- Nursing facility events
- Home health events
- Senior and community events
- Healthcare conferences
- Open houses
- Educational events
- Community outreach activities
- Other company-sponsored or healthcare-related events
Responsibilities may include:
- Setting up and maintaining company booths and displays.
- Transporting marketing materials and display equipment.
- Speaking with healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and community members.
- Explaining Leading Respiratory Services' products and services.
- Distributing brochures and educational materials.
- Collecting contact information and identifying potential referral relationships.
- Following up with contacts following events.
- Assisting with planning company-sponsored provider appreciation or educational events.

The representative is not expected to be a clinical expert but should develop enough product knowledge to identify opportunities, explain available services, and connect providers with the appropriate Leading Respiratory Services team member when more specialized assistance is required.
Provider Relationship Management
A major responsibility of this position is ensuring healthcare providers know they have a reliable point of contact at Leading Respiratory Services.
The representative will:
- Build trust with provider offices through consistent communication and follow-up.
- Regularly check in with referral sources to determine how Leading Respiratory Services can better serve their patients.
- Help resolve communication or service concerns involving referred patients.
- Keep providers informed about relevant changes to company products and services.
- Gather feedback from referral partners and communicate opportunities for improvement to management.
- Ensure referral sources know who to contact when assistance is needed.
- Work to make Leading Respiratory Services an easy and dependable company for healthcare providers to work with.
Business Development
The Marketing & Provider Relations Representative will also help identify opportunities for company growth by:
- Developing new referral relationships.
- Identifying underserved provider offices and geographic areas.
- Introducing additional Leading Respiratory Services product lines to existing referral partners.
- Identifying opportunities for provider education.
- Monitoring referral activity and market trends.
- Developing relationships with new physicians and healthcare organizations.
- Identifying upcoming healthcare and community events.
- Reporting competitor activity and market feedback to management.
QualificationsRequired
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in marketing, business, healthcare administration, communications, or a related field.
- Previous experience in healthcare marketing, provider relations, physician relations, medical sales, business development, or account management.
- Experience in the durable medical equipment, home medical equipment, home health, hospice, hospital, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry.
- Existing relationships with healthcare providers within the company's service area.
- Experience attending trade shows, vendor fairs, or healthcare networking events.

Work Environment
This is primarily a field-based position and will involve significant travel throughout the assigned territory.
A typical workday may include visiting multiple physician offices and healthcare facilities, meeting with referral coordinators, delivering marketing materials, following up on provider concerns, attending meetings, and documenting provider activity.
Some office work will also be required for planning, communication, reporting, and coordination with other Leading Respiratory Services departments.
Occasional evening or weekend attendance may be required for vendor fairs, conferences, health fairs, community events, or other special events.
