IRONWORKER
Compensation: $24-$30+/Hr DOE
Full-time position
Located at various sites all around the greater Denver & Colorado Springs Area
An Ironworker’s duties may consist of, but aren’t limited to:
Using optical equipment to establish grid lines & elevations for various tasks.
Forklift operation to unload and move material around job sites.
Rigging & signaling for cranes & hoisting equipment
Aerial lift operation to access work at elevated locations.
Installing stairs, landings, rails, and guardrails. Welding all rails & rail returns.
Unloading, and shaking out steel beams, columns, joists, & other steel members.
Erecting Steel columns, beams, girders, trusses, joists, etc.
Plumbing & stabilizing erected steel members with cables & a come-along.
Bolting up steel members & tightening bolts to appropriate specs
Welding Clip angles, shear tabs, connection plates, etc. to steel members throughout
structures.
Reading & interpreting Blue Prints.
Requirements:
Minimum 1-year relevant ironworking experience
Previous or current certification in welding
Must possess reliable transportation.
Reliability in reporting to work
Good communication skills
Positive attitude, good character, and a strong work ethic
Must have and maintain a positive safety attitude.
Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to work overtime as required, including Saturdays.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly, walk long distances, stand for long periods, climb
stairs and ladders, work at heights, and work in extreme temperature and weather
conditions.
