Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support to individuals in community employment settings.
- Assist individuals with learning job duties, workplace expectations, and professional communication skills.
- Develop and implement individualized employment goals and strategies.
- Monitor job performance and provide ongoing coaching and encouragement.
- Build positive relationships with employers, coworkers, and community partners.
- Complete accurate documentation and progress notes in a timely manner.
- Advocate for individuals to promote independence, self-confidence, and workplace success.
- Assist with transportation and community integration as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
