American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a BMT/Oncology unit position requiring a minimum of 1.5–2 years of acute care BMT/Heme experience and chemotherapy administration skills.

51-bed BMT/Oncology unit specializing in the care of patients with blood cancers receiving chemotherapy, biotherapies, and cellular therapies including stem cell transplants and CAR-T
-
Patient-to-nurse ratio is 3–4:1, with the possibility of flexing up based on staffing and unit needs
-
Charting is performed in Epic
-
Shifts are 3x12-hour nights (19:00–07:00) or days (07:00–19:00); rotating shifts possible
-
Weekend shifts required per unit needs
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
Floating required between the BMT/Oncology and CTU units, as well as to sister facilities within the metro region based on facility needs
-
13-week contract
-
Active CO or Compact RN license currently in hand

Current AHA BLS certification required
-
Oncology Certified Nurse (ONC) certification required

Minimum of 1.5–2 years of acute care BMT/Heme experience required

Chemotherapy administration experience required

Comfort with and prior experience in environments with flexible staffing ratios required

Provide specialized nursing care to patients with blood cancers undergoing chemotherapy, biotherapies, stem cell transplants, and CAR-T therapies

Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are considered local and subject to a local pay rate
