Split Shift: Morning and afternoon transportation
AM Shift Approximately- 6:30am-9am
Pm Shift Approximately- 1:50pm-4:30PM day.
**Shift times may fluctuate and requires employee to be flexible
Autism F.I.T.S. Academy is seeking caring and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Van Driver. This position is responsible for providing exemplary customer service and safe transportation to students to and from school.
Position Responsibilities
- Transport students to and from school in a safe and timely manner while observing all laws pertaining to driving.
- Follows all policy and procedures, standards and licensing requirements.
- Follows all policy and procedures regarding attendance, including punctuality and notification.
- Maintains appropriate report and accurately completes all documentation forms.
- Record and report any change in a student’s physical and or behavioral status.
- Maintains a current Arizona Driver’s License and meets all Autism F.I.T.S. auto insurance requirements to provide students with transportation.
- Follows a daily schedule and carries out any assigned duties to provide a normal rhythm of life.
- Provides assistance and support to students according to Autism F.I.T.S. Policies and Procedures
- Respects confidentiality, individuality and the rights of all students.
- Interacts positively with all students and shows interest toward the job being performed.
- Maintains vehicles cleanliness and assists with vehicle maintenance and upkeep (sanitizing vehicle, vacuuming, filling with gas etc..).
- Must be able to be flexible in both am and pm time shift changes (example-traffic makes route take longer etc…)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must have a valid Arizona Driver’s License with a safe driving record as determined by insurance requirements.
- Must be able to present a 36 month MVR
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Valid AZ Driver’s license preferred
- Must be able to obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card
Job Type: Part-time/Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
