Detroit-based contract security provider City Shield Security has been the security vendor at a prominent construction site in Southwest Detroit for 5+ years. We are continuing to work at this location indefinitely and are adding to our team.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18+ to apply
- Must pass a state/national background check
- Must have a minimum of high school diploma or GED (proof of education required to interview)
- Must have at least 3 years security experience
- Must have a valid DL and two points or fewer on your driving record
Skills:
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills (needed for giving direction and writing daily activity reports).
- Must be able to follow directions and post orders to maintain the operational standards and needs of our work site.

Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Clean state and national background check (not felony friendly).
- Experience with receptionist, concierge, or other corporate customer service duties is preferred.
- Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and communicate verbally (in English) while performing access control at a construction site. There may also be a foot patrol aspect to this job, if needed.
- Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced corporate environment, while remaining calm and professional at all times. Responsibilities include: access control, credentialing visitors, directing phone calls and guests, and other services as necessary.
