ASI is seeking a qualified Acquisition Logistics Manager, Journeyman to join our team at Tinker AFB, OK. The candidate will provide Contractor Support Services to the Navy’s E-6 FST in the Strategic Planning department.
Responsibilities:
- Provide logistics support analysis in support of Strategic Planning
- Perform maintenance planning/design interface functions
- Identify impact on life cycle logistics planning to include identifying changes to each logistic support element, associated requirement dates, and impact on delivery and deployment schedules
- Provide supportability and technical analysis of operational ILS requirements
- Conduct research and analysis within the supply chain concerning elements of procurement, transportation, storage, handling, receiving, issuing and delivery of material
- Assess and analyze reliability, availability, supportability, and affordability requirements, developing viable alternatives in supporting program requirements
- Recommend changes to existing or prospective solutions and provide risk management assessment
- Respond to technical, logistics support analysis, and supportability questions from fleet and other E-6 community personnel
Required Qualifications:
- At least 3 to 10 years in Acquisition Logistics Support /Maintenance Engineering, as well as operations or maintenance of systems in the field
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain and logistics management, or a relevant discipline to include, but not limited to, business management, management science, program management, purchasing management, procurement/acquisitions and contracts management
- High school diploma or equivalent and 6 additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree
- In-depth experience in conducting technical analysis of ILS requirements relating to configuration and inventory management applicable to the E-6 aircraft
- Thoroughly familiar with Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information Systems
