Job Description
The Med-Surg Adult RN provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions and post-surgical needs. This role focuses on patient assessment, treatment, recovery, and ensuring quality care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Assess, plan, and implement patient care for adult medical and surgical patients
Monitor vital signs and patient condition
Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments
Assist in post-operative care and recovery
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate patient documentation and records
Ensure infection control and patient safety protocols
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
BLS/ACLS Certification (preferred)
1–3+ years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
Experience in acute care settings preferred
Patient care & clinical assessment
