Chemo Pharmacy Technician (Temporary)

Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay:
$19.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience
Temporary Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Chemo Pharmacy Technician to join a healthcare team in Brandon, FL. This temporary assignment is expected to run from July 27 through August 31, with the potential to extend into September.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pharmacy professional who is skilled in chemotherapy compounding and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and compound chemotherapy medications in accordance with established safety and quality standards.
- Follow USP guidelines and facility protocols for sterile compounding.
- Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Work collaboratively with pharmacists and healthcare providers to support quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Active Florida Pharmacy Technician License (required)
- Chemotherapy Certification (required)
- Minimum 3 years of chemotherapy compounding/mixing experience in an oncology or clinical setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
