Skills & Qualifications
- Valid New Jersey Barber License
- 3+ years of barbering experience preferred
- Strong skills in:
- Classic & modern men’s haircuts
- Skin fades & tapers
- Beard trims & shaping
- Straight razor shaves (preferred)
- Hot towel services
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Ability to build and retain clientele
- Team-oriented with a passion for continuous learning
Job Duties
- Deliver high-quality haircuts and grooming services
- Consult with clients to understand their style preferences
- Perform beard trims, shaves, and hot towel treatments
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation
- Follow all state sanitation and safety regulations
- Recommend grooming products when appropriate
- Build strong client relationships through exceptional service
- Contribute to a positive, respectful team environment
- Help maintain the professional appearance of the shop
