We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Quality Manager to lead quality assurance and control initiatives across two of our Houston manufacturing locations. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust quality systems that ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
This position plays a critical role in driving continuous improvement, fostering a culture of quality, and ensuring adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality results across all operations.
Responsibilities
- The designated Management Representative for IDS.
- Assist management in training on the IDS quality management system.
- Assures compliance to Quality Manual.
- Maintains all documentation relating to the IDS quality management system.
- Directs receiving inspection of designated materials.
- Responsible for final inspection activities.
- Supervises all quality inspectors.
- Assures that quality inspectors are properly trained.
- Responsible for documentation and calibration of measuring and test equipment.
- Responsible for API 10D, or associated testing and reporting.
- Responsible for development of product quality plans.
- Responsible for performing internal quality audits.
- Assist in the approval and assessment of IDS suppliers.
- Responsible for qualification of weld procedures and qualification of welders at IDS.
- Directs physical inventory and cycle counts of products and materials.
- Responsible for other specific tasks and responsibilities as directed by the General Manager.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in centralizer manufacturing.
- Minimum of 1 year of inspection experience.
- Familiar with Root Cause Analysis
- One (1) year experience / training in performing Internal Audits.
- Familiar with API Q1 and ISO 9001 Series Specifications.
- Familiar with all aspects of M&TE to include calibration.
- Familiar with shop inspection procedures.
- Familiar with AWS codes and qualification procedures
Training Requirements
- IDS Quality System.
- All operations procedures that include the participation of the QA Manager or designate the QA Manager as a responsible party.
Pay: $110,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
