Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Information TechnologyTechnician to support our healthcare organization’s technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical proficiency, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining accurate data systems. As an Information Technology Technician, you will be responsible for managing data entry, supporting database systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of office technology to facilitate effective patient care and administrative functions.
Duties
● Install new hardware and software programs. Maintain inventory tracking system of all hardware assets and software licensing in the company.
● Perform preventive computer equipment maintenance duties; cleaning and organizing in-use and stored hardware/software; installing minor hardware accessories.
● Install and coordinate phone system with local vendor.
● Provide first-line technical support to staff and patients via phone, email, or in-person.
● Travel to clinic locations to set up/move computers, pick up hardware and call vendors from these locations for service.
● Ability to utilize minor troubleshooting and repairs of printers, scanners, point of service (POS) machines, phones, etc.
● Handling of physical backup and software media as well as verification and testing of backups.
● Troubleshoot and resolved print, email, and web access issues.
● Field and resolve trouble tickets, e-mails, and calls from end users, escalating them to the appropriate IT member as necessary.
● Provide status to users and Manager on the progress of problem resolution.
● Point of contact for vendors (phone, computer, etc.)
● Support clinic and vendors with any power or internet outage.,
● Place and track service calls to vendors and document vendor progress and resolution.
● Review outstanding problem list periodically to assure all problems are being addressed according to their level of severity.
● Identify trends and exceptions by reviewing call tracking information.
● Maintain internal policies, documentation, keeping procedures and information current.
● Other duties as assigned
Experience
● High school graduate or equivalent required.
● Prior experience, education and/or training in a related field of expertise preferred.
● Windows Desktop and Windows Server experience preferred.
● Valid California driver’s license and clear MVR required.
● Must be able to travel locally as necessary to complete the responsibilities of the position.

Pay: $26.31 - $30.23 per hour
