Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs, providing knowledgeable guidance on merchandise.
- Process sales transactions accurately using cash handling, cashiering, and cash management procedures, including 10 key typing and retail math calculations.
- Support customers with banking-related inquiries, including basic loan processing and financial services information.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are properly displayed and inventory levels are monitored.
- Handle cash register operations efficiently, ensuring all transactions are completed securely and accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and offering product recommendations to enhance the shopping experience.
- Assist with stock replenishment, inventory counts, and basic retail math to ensure product availability aligns with store standards.
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service environments.
- Knowledge of banking or financial services is a plus, especially related to loan processing or cash management.
- Strong math skills including basic math, retail math, and proficiency with financial software.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with diverse customers.
- Ability to perform detailed tasks such as 10 key typing with accuracy under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash transactions responsibly while maintaining security protocols.
- A proactive attitude with a passion for helping others and achieving sales goals.
