INTERMEDIATE FF&E INTERIOR DESIGNER

We are looking for an Intermediate Interior Designer to join our team and work on residential and commercial projects. The candidate should have design experience on high-end residential projects, and / or commercial projects where he/she was involved in all phases of the interior design process. The ideal candidate would be a gifted designer who is organized and able to vision and manage parts of a project.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Sourcing of furniture, lighting and fabrics and finishes, create design schemes
- Pricing out of all selections, vendor correspondence, all sample requests and returns
- Updating and maintaining Furniture + IA plans in AutoCAD
- Working with Design Principal to prepare client presentations
- Maintaining and managing project budgets and timelines and overall day to day project needs and expectations
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years’ experience
- Professional Degree in Interior Design or related field
- Be able to showcase finished work in your portfolio and discuss what your role was
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Google Sheets, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop, Sketchup or Rhino, Programa (this is a plus but not mandatory)
- Passionate, self-motivated designer, able to take direction easily and collaborative mindset
- Ability to work in a team and manage yourself, your time and be well organized
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other professionals involved in the project to ensure seamless execution.
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress and make necessary adjustments or recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and technologies related to interior design.
- Drivers license and transportation required
Salary/Benefits
The Scale Collective offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience. Holiday pay, sick time and a week off between Christmas and New Years, and Health & Transportation reimbursements.
Location + Hours
This is a hybrid position located in Marin County, California. Candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area strongly preferred. Will consider remote for the right candidates. The position currently is 2-3 days a week, with the possibility to grow to full time should the candidate and firm feel it's the right fit for them.
