**Job Overview**
We are seeking skilled Line Cooks to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and quality standards while maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment. *BAKING EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS*
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare ingredients for menu items following standard procedures
- Cook and plate menu items accurately and efficiently
- Assist with the development of new menu items and specials
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a culinary role preferred
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while upholding quality standards
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Culinary experience - Food service background
- Catering knowledge
- Menu planning skills
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques
- Familiarity with dietary requirements and restrictions
- Experience working in a dietary department
- Knife handling expertise
