Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sitework Foreman to lead and oversee all aspects of site preparation and groundwork activities on construction projects. Your expertise in construction management software, blueprint reading, and crew supervision will drive project success from start to finish. Duties
- Lead and supervise construction crews in executing site preparation, excavation, grading, and foundation work with precision and efficiency.
- Coordinate construction schedules to ensure timely completion of site activities.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide on-site operations accurately.
- Manage daily safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
- Oversee quality control processes to ensure work meets project specifications, including supervising the review of construction drawings and technical documents.
- Manage crew assignments, monitor productivity, enforce safety policies, and foster a collaborative team environment focused on excellence.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Sitework Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within heavy civil or commercial construction projects.
- Strong background in construction scheduling, project coordination, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards aligned with OSHA regulations.
- Experience supervising large crews on complex site projects with a focus on quality control and safety compliance.
- Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations as well as local building codes and industry best practices.
- Skilled in managing budgets, contracts, and project documentation to support seamless project delivery.
