Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from framing and trim carpentry to restoration and remodeling. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for executing carpentry tasks with precision, supporting various construction activities, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing, cabinetry, doors, siding, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications.
- Perform demolition, restoration work, water damage remediation, and mold remediation as needed.
- Support fabrication tasks including woodworking, drywall installation (plastering), caulking, stucco application, and tile laying.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or related fields with knowledge of carpentry techniques such as trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and cabinetry installation.
- Familiarity with hand tools (saws, hammers, drills), power tools (nail guns, grinders), and schematics reading.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
- Experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of safety procedures.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Skills in various construction specialties including roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, electrical experience, plumbing, masonry, or restoration are highly desirable.
