Duties

- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and safety
- Handle trash removal and recycling duties efficiently to promote a tidy environment
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as dusting surfaces, cleaning windows, and sanitizing high-touch areas
- Assist with light custodial repairs or maintenance tasks as needed to support facility operations
- Use specialized floor care techniques including buffing and polishing to restore shine and extend flooring lifespan
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a secure workspace for yourself and colleagues
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks efficiently in various environments
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively in a part-time schedule
