Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging Montessori-based lesson plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and overall child development.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective behavior management and classroom organization strategies.
- Support early intervention efforts by identifying individual student needs and collaborating with specialists when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, including assessments aligned with standardized testing standards.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share insights on their child's growth, milestones, and classroom activities.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and uphold child welfare standards at all times.
- Incorporate preschool teaching best practices while adapting lessons for toddlers and young children with diverse learning needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, especially within preschool or early childhood environments.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, childhood development principles, and classroom management techniques.
- Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention strategies, and behavior management tools.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in childhood education or Montessori training are highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and external specialists.
- Demonstrated ability to plan lessons that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
- Experience working within private school settings or similar educational institutions is advantageous.
