Position Overview: We are seeking new to experienced crew members to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in stage lighting, audio, rigging, and/ or video. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of our events, contributing to their overall success and client satisfaction. We are currently hiring for our busy season which can remain seasonal but there are plenty of advancement opportunities for continued yearly work within the company. BRIGHT promotes from within
Key Responsibilities:
- Lighting: Set up, operate, and troubleshoot lighting equipment for events, ensuring optimal illumination and visual effects. May include LED lighting to string lighting to conventional lighting.
- Audio: Manage audio systems, including microphones, speakers, and mixers, to deliver clear and high-quality sound.
- Rigging: Install and secure rigging equipment for lighting and audio setups, adhering to safety standards.
- Video: Set up and operate projection and video equipment, ensuring seamless integration and presentation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with event planners, clients, and team members to ensure all technical aspects meet or exceed expectations.
- Problem-Solving: Quickly identify and resolve any issues that arise during setup, operation, or breakdown.
Qualifications:
- MUST BE BASED IN NASHVILLE AND SURROUNDING AREAS, WITHIN 30 MILES
- Reliable transportation to job sites and to warehouse
- Must be able to lift, carry, and push up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to perform minimal tasks on A-frame ladders up to 12'
- Proven experience in stage lighting, audio, rigging, and video production.
- Strong team leadership skills if desire is to be a Crew Lead or Project Manager.
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on skills with relevant equipment and software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate event schedules.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Professionalism on job sites is a requirement
- Competitive hourly pay starting from $17, based on experience and skills. (Negotiable depending on experience)
- More experienced applicants with proven experience may negotiate higher hourly rate at the discretion of management
- Salary positions are available as well, based on experience and skills
- Crew will start out as 1099 contractors until promoted to Project Manager
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
