We are recruiting a Senior Project Manager - Site Development in our Grand Rapids office who supports our clients, co-workers and core principles – “understand our customers and satisfy their needs, do what we say we are going to do and have fun.”

Responsibilities:

Work with both public and private entities in the development & enhancement of new or existing facilities including site developments including commercial, institutional, multi-family housing, streetscapes, community recreation; plus, other public and private projects.

Manage preliminary and final design and construction phase services for municipal and private projects.

Supervise and develop project team members, including goal setting, problem solving, coaching, and career guidance.

Perform technical analysis and documentation.

Determine and monitor project scope, budget, and schedule.

Identify funding source opportunities and assists clients to receive funding.

Develop and manage client relationships, and coordinate pursuits with Business Development team, including cross selling the firm’s capabilities as a provider of Design, Build, Operate services.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and MI PE registration

15+ years of related land or site development engineering experience

Experience in client management, preparing and meeting budgets and schedules

Experience in relationship development and proposal preparation
-
Knowledgeable in municipal, township and county government practices and regulations

Excellent written and oral communication skills
