Role Overview:
The Medical Scheduler is responsible for coordinating patient appointments, verifying information, and supporting clinic operations. Bilingual proficiency in English & Spanish is required to support clear communication and high-quality service for a diverse patient population. This role blends administrative precision, operational awareness, and real-time decision making. You’ll manage workflows across calls, chats, and texts — ensuring providers have efficient schedules and patients receive timely care.
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour + scheduling bonuses
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate appointment scheduling to optimize provider routes
- Serve as a primary contact for providers and internal support teams
- Use EMR systems and scheduling tools to manage appointments accurately
- Solve scheduling conflicts with creativity, speed, and professionalism
- Support intake processes and ensure daily scheduling flow is clear and efficient
- Maintain HIPPA compliance and meticulous documentation
- Up to 200 outbound calls daily
- Re‑engage inactive patients to schedule appointments
Required Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of medical scheduling or EMR experience
- Strong verbal communication and persuasion skills
- A problem-solving mindset and passion for improving patient access
- Bilingual fluency in English & Spanish is REQUIRED to effectively communicate with patients and support clinic operations.
