Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift
We are seeking an experienced RRT for a night-shift travel assignment at a Level III Trauma Center & Teaching Hospital.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of RRT experience
- Must be comfortable working with both adult and pediatric ICU patients
- Every other weekend required
- Nights, weekends and holidays required
- Willingness to float within scope as needed
- Pending license not accepted
- Interview availability must be provided at submission
Assignment Details
- Shift: Nights
- Weekend: Every other weekend
- Call: None
- Float: Required
- Block Scheduling: Not available
- Locals: Not accepted — 50-mile radius rule from Cape Fear Valley Medical Center
- RTO: Maximum 4 days; no holidays
- Guaranteed Hours: 2-shift call-off allowance per 13-week assignment; after that, contracted hours are guaranteed
- Scrubs: Solid Black or Black & White
- Charting: EPIC
Important
- Any call-off for a scheduled shift will require a make-up shift as determined by the department.
- Return staff must be gone for 1 year before returning as a traveler.
- Maximum 2 contracts (one extension allowed), then traveler must be gone for 6 months before returning.
- Must be comfortable caring for both pediatric and adult ICU patients.
Pay: $57.00 - $59.00 per hour
