Duties and Responsibilities:
· Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments to evaluate mental health status, including psychological, social, and physical factors.
· Formulate accurate psychiatric diagnoses based on assessment findings.
· Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, adjusting dosage and treatment plans as needed.
· Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and side effects of medications.
· Educate patients and families about medications, potential side effects, and treatment options.
· Provide individual, group, or family therapy based on the patient's needs and treatment plan.
· Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address mental health concerns.
· Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
· Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment plans and patient progress.
· Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
· Promote mental health awareness and provide resources for ongoing support.
· Respond to and manage psychiatric emergencies and crises.
· Collaborate with emergency services and coordinate appropriate interventions.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records, documenting assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes.
· Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation
· Stay informed about the latest developments in psychiatric and mental health care.
· Pursue ongoing education and training to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
