MANAGEMENT SA5 is a growing property management company managing 27 entities and a large residential portfolio throughout the Philadelphia area. We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to join our team.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow into a full-time role as the company continues to expand.
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS
QuickBooks experience is REQUIRED. Applicants must have hands-on experience with both QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.
This position is not suitable for candidates with only basic bookkeeping experience.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable managing multiple entities, logging into various bank accounts and QuickBooks files, processing large volumes of transactions, and multitasking throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Enter checks, invoices, bills, deposits, and financial transactions into QuickBooks
- Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Print and prepare checks for payment processing (a major responsibility of this position)
- Log into multiple bank accounts and QuickBooks files daily
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for 27 entities
- Record bank and credit card transactions
- Generate and send invoices
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on unpaid invoices
- Review vendor invoices for accuracy and proper coding
- Reconcile accounts and maintain organized financial records
- Code expenses to the proper entities and projects
- Maintain Excel spreadsheets and financial schedules
- Prepare weekly expense reports for management review
- Assist with administrative and accounting-related tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or accounting experience
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop (REQUIRED)
- Experience handling multiple entities and bank accounts
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
