Staff Accountant Join Our Team at Strategic Partners of Georgia!
Strategic Partners of Georgia is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping clients succeed, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is looking to build a long-term career in public accounting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate bookkeeping records for multiple clients.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
- Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements and reports.
- Process payroll and prepare payroll tax filings.
- Prepare sales tax returns.
- Assist with the preparation of individual, corporate, partnership, and nonprofit tax returns.
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding accounting and tax matters.
- Maintain organized workpapers and supporting documentation.
- Support senior accountants and managers with accounting, tax, and advisory projects.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
- Public accounting, bookkeeping, or related accounting experience preferred.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines while working independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing exceptional client service.
