Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for customer service and takes pride in creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment, in addition to being a great team player and working great with others! Previous barista or customer service experience is a plus, but not required — we are happy to train the right person.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages
- Assist customers with menu selections based on their preferences
- Operate coffee-making equipment with accuracy and care
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workspace
- Process cash and card transactions accurately
- Complete daily opening and closing duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of food safety and handling procedures is an asset
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling transactions efficiently
- Excellent time management skills
- Punctuality and reliability are a must
Additional Information
We are accepting applications through July 3rd. Training will begin the week of July 6th, and the position will start the week of July 13th.
This is a part-time position, Tuesdays 10:45 - 2:30 and Wednesdays 6:30 - 2:30. More hours to come in August once school resumes. Workdays can be flexible for the right addition to the team!
