Position Summary
The Customer Service & Warranty Representative will serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, warranty claims, and product support. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues in a professional and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email
- Provide product information, order updates, and general support
- Assist customers with troubleshooting and product guidance
- Maintain a professional and positive customer experience
Warranty & Returns Processing
- Evaluate and process warranty claims according to company policy
- Inspect returned products for defects or issues
- Coordinate repair, replacement, or service actions
- Document warranty cases accurately in company systems
Order & Case Management
- Track customer orders and follow up on delivery status
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions
- Work closely with production, shipping, and quality teams
- Escalate issues when necessary to ensure resolution
Administrative Support
- Maintain organized customer service logs and warranty records
- Assist with reporting on warranty trends and recurring issues
- Support internal teams with customer feedback and product data
Qualifications
Required
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Customer service or administrative experience (1–3 years preferred)
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, data entry)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional and patient demeanor
Preferred
- Experience in firearms, outdoor products, or manufacturing industry
- Familiarity with warranty or RMA processing systems
- Experience working with ERP or CRM systems
- Technical understanding of firearms or mechanical products
Compliance Requirements
- Clean criminal record
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a California DOJ Certificate of Eligibility (COE) (if applicable to role access)
- Must comply with all federal, state, and local regulations related to firearms manufacturing and distribution
Compensation
- $20.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
