Join our dynamic healthcare team as a CT / MRI Technologist, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This position will support multiple facility locations, requiring flexibility to travel between sites as needed.” You will operate advanced imaging equipment, including CT (Computed Tomography) and MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scanners, to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients effectively. Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, ensuring comfort, and positioning them correctly for optimal results.
- Operate CT and MRI scanners with precision, adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines to produce clear, diagnostic-quality images.
- Follow strict aseptic techniques to prevent infections during invasive or sterile procedures.
- Monitor patient physiology during scans, recognizing abnormal responses or contraindications related to MRI or CT procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to review images for quality assurance and ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CT and MRI equipment in a hospital or clinical setting, with a strong understanding of diagnostic radiology principles.
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to accurately position patients and interpret imaging results.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to radiology and imaging procedures.
- Ability to apply aseptic techniques diligently during invasive procedures or sterile environments.
- Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge necessary for precise imaging across various body regions.
- ARRT certification (CT and/or MRI preferred)
- Active Illinois state license (if applicable)
- Minimum [1–2] years of experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
