KITSCH is looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to serve as the operating backbone of our marketing team. In this role, you will turn strategy into a system: building the team's operating cadence, owning the marketing tools and performance data, and supporting the CMO with planning and cross-functional coordination so that every launch ships on time and every decision is made with data.
This is a broad operations role that combines hands-on marketing operations (martech stack, dashboards, launch calendar, budget, workflows) with strategic planning and leadership support (quarterly planning, OKR tracking, meeting preparation, cross-functional follow-through).
This role is open to candidates based in the United States or Latin America who can work substantial overlapping hours with our Los Angeles, CA-based leadership team.
Marketing Operations
-
Own the day-to-day administration of the marketing technology stack (email/CRM, e-commerce, attribution, and project management tools), ensuring systems are reliable, integrated, and adopted by the team.
-
Build and maintain marketing performance dashboards (CAC, ROAS, LTV, repeat-purchase rate) and run the weekly and monthly reporting rhythm for leadership.
-
Own the launch calendar and cross-functional readiness across creative, e-commerce, retail, and social for all core launches (Spring/Summer, Fall/Winter, Halloween, Holiday).
-
Track the marketing budget, manage purchase orders and key vendor/agency relationships, and keep spend accountable to results.
-
Map team workflows, identify bottlenecks (briefing, asset handoff, approvals), and document repeatable processes and playbooks.
Strategic Planning & Leadership Support
-
Run the quarterly planning process; help set, cascade, and track marketing OKRs to closure.
-
Prepare agendas and pre-reads for leadership meetings; capture decisions and action items and drive follow-through.
-
Keep marketing tightly connected to product, e-commerce, retail, and operations teams, translating between functions and closing gaps.
-
Lead special projects: take ownership of high-priority initiatives that do not yet have a clear owner.
-
Surface what is working, what is stuck, and what needs a decision — early, honestly, and with a recommendation.
Required
-
4–6 years of experience in marketing operations, growth/business operations, or a comparable operational role — ideally in consumer, DTC, beauty, or CPG.
-
Hands-on experience with a modern martech stack: email/CRM (e.g., Klaviyo), an e-commerce platform (e.g., Shopify), and analytics/attribution tools.
-
Strong spreadsheet, modeling, and dashboarding skills — able to build a financial model and a clean report independently.
-
Fluency in project management tools (Asana, monday.com, Trello) and the operational discipline behind them.
-
A track record of running complex, cross-functional projects or product launches end to end.
Preferred
-
Beauty, hair care, or CPG experience, especially with a fast-moving product launch calendar.
-
Omnichannel exposure across DTC and retail (Target, Ulta, Amazon, TikTok Shop).
-
SQL, GA4, or a BI/attribution tool (Looker, Northbeam).
-
Experience scaling operations inside a fast-growth, founder-led brand.
-
Systems thinking — sees the whole workflow, not just the task; builds processes that keep working over time.
-
Data fluency — comfortable pulling, validating, and interpreting data, and knowing which metric answers which question.
-
Program management — coordinates many moving parts across teams and delivers on time.
-
Influence without authority — aligns and mobilizes stakeholders across functions.
-
Prioritization and judgment — distinguishes urgent from important and protects the team's focus.
-
Executive communication — writes and presents clearly and concisely, leading with the recommendation.
-
Intuitive — Proactive Problem Solver: We're proactive, not reactive. When something doesn't feel right, we pause, speak up, and fix it with honesty and integrity.
-
Takes Pride in Our Work — Accountability: We own our work with pride, deliver on time, collaborate generously, and keep learning.
-
Humble & Inclusive: We lead with "How can I help?" No task is beneath anyone on this team.
-
Warm & Real: We sound like people, not a corporation.
-
First 30 days: Learn the stack, the calendar, and the team; map how work flows today and where it slows down.
-
First 60 days: Stand up the team's operating cadence and a first version of the performance dashboard; own readiness for the next launch.
-
First 90 days: Operating cadence adopted, dashboard trusted by leadership, and first workflow improvements shipped.
-
First year: Marketing runs on a documented rhythm — launches land on time, decisions are data-backed, budget is under control, and reporting prep time is cut roughly in half.
