American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU/SICU day shift position in Albany, NY, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and active Epic EMR proficiency.

Located in the Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (Neuro ICU/SICU)

Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

13-week contract

Active NY RN license required at time of consideration

Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required

BLS and ACLS certifications required — must be issued by AHA or RQI

Epic EMR experience is required; candidates without Epic experience will not be considered

US Social Security Number required

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Flu vaccination required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted (personal and religious declinations are not accepted)

Candidates must reside outside of the following counties to be eligible: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington (50-mile radius rule applies)

All ICU candidates must complete and pass a competency test; two attempts are allowed

Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application

More than 3 call-outs in a 13-week period may result in contract termination; make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call-out
