As a Full-Time Registered Nurse, you will provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to patients in the comfort of their homes. We serve individuals of all ages, with the majority of our clients being seniors. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, meaningful patient relationships, and the opportunity to positively impact the lives of those you serve.
Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in patients' homes.
- Assess patients and implement physician-ordered treatment plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions within the RN scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely clinical documentation in accordance with the patient's plan of care and nursing standards.
- Perform all nursing skills, treatments, and procedures in compliance with the Arizona Nurse Practice Act and BrightStar Care policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure continuity of care.
Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Arizona.
- Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience.
- Valid driver's license, active auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Current TB skin test or Chest X-ray.
- Excellent clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
Travel Requirement
Must be willing and able to travel to patient homes throughout Glendale and surrounding service areas.
