Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments according to infection prevention management procedures
- Assist dentists during various procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry
- Take and develop dental x-rays and 3D scans while ensuring adherence to dental sterilization procedures and aseptic techniques
- Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide chairside assistance by handing instruments, managing patient comfort, and monitoring vital signs during treatments
- Educate patients on oral health care, post-treatment instructions, and dental terminology to promote understanding and cooperation
- Support administrative tasks such as patient management software updates, appointment scheduling, and coordinating with the dental receptionist for smooth clinic operations
